Dr. William Julio earned his medical degree from the University of Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayam\u00f3n, Puerto Rico.<\/strong><\/p>

He completed a rotating internship and a residency in General Psychiatry at Cabrini Medical Center \/ Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York, where he served as Chief Resident. He later completed a subspecialty in Geriatric Psychiatry at Saint Vincent\u2019s Hospital and Medical Center \/ New York Medical College.\nHe is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians and of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, board-certified in Psychiatry with additional qualifications in Geriatric Psychiatry. He was also elected by the Board of Trustees of the American Psychiatric Association as a Distinguished Fellow.\nDr. Julio is a member and has served as president of several professional associations, including the Puerto Rico Academy of Psychiatry and the Puerto Rico Psychiatric Society, APA District Branch. He has also been active in the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry.\nDr. Julio has participated as a speaker in numerous scientific congresses and symposia and has served as Principal Investigator in dozens of clinical research trials in the areas of Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, and Neurocognitive Disorders due to Alzheimer\u2019s or Parkinson\u2019s disease.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

She completed her Psychiatry internship at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey \u2013 Robert Wood Johnson. She then completed her residency in General Psychiatry and subspecialty training in Latino Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry at Saint Vincent\u2019s Hospital and Medical Center \/ New York Medical College.\nShe also participated in the Comprehensive HIV Center \u2013 Mental Health Program at Saint Vincent\u2019s Hospital and Medical Center \/ New York Medical College.\nDr. Batista has over twenty years of clinical practice and is a member and Clinical Coordinator of the Bayam\u00f3n Region Psychiatric Association.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Dr. Caroline Toro-Ruiz earned her bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayag\u00fcez, majoring in Industrial Microbiology. She obtained her medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico.<\/strong><\/p>

She completed her internship at the San Juan Veterans Affairs Hospital and her Psychiatry residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital \/ Ponce Health Sciences University, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.\nShe is board-certified in General Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She currently serves on the medical faculty of Hospital Pav\u00eda\u2013Hato Rey and Hospital Panamericano. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the Medical Sciences Campus.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
